Metro-reality.com, ISLAMABAD : UN Commission investigating the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto to check the former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.

The UN on Wednesday, said the team arrived in Pakistan last July to investigate investigate the circumstances surrounding the attacks in 2007 that killed former prime minister and met with dozens of people. The Commission’s examination has been made conversation forthright, open and warm with former President Musharraf and asks many questions about the mandate issue.

Bhutto, the first woman to become prime minister in a country
Muslims, died December 27, 2007 due to gunfire and a suicide attack after addressing election meetings in Rawalpindi, a city near the capital garnizun Islamabad.

Bhutto widower, Asif Ali Zardari, replaced Musharraf, who ruled when Benazir was killed, last year as president. Political parties Zardari asked the UN to investigate Benazir murder case about it. Supporters of Benazir upset by mazy news about how he killed and who was responsible, although the UN team says its mandate is limited to find the facts and does not include criminal investigation.

Scotland Yard’s secret police are also investigating the London concerning the murder and claimed that Bhutto was killed by a suicide bomb attack, not by gunfire.

The UN Commission will submit a report to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon later this year. The report will also be given to the Pakistan government and the UN Security Council.
