Metro-reality.com, MADRID: Somali pirates threatening to kill three detained crew of a Spanish fishing boat when their colleagues who were arrested in Spain was not released, said the ship’s captain, Friday (6 / 11).
The navy arrested two Somalia in the Indian Ocean after the pirates holding the ship tuna Alakrana October 2. The two suspects would be trial at Spain with charges of terrorism and piracy.
The Somali pirates said they would not negotiate a ransom of the release Alakrana for the two fellows, until the authorities of Spain freed them. “They arrested three of our crew and provide two-day deadline,” said captain Alakrana, Ricardo Blach told Spanish television by telephone from the ship was detained.
“If in two days there was no sign that two people were repatriated to Somalia here, they would kill the three crew members and immediately following the three other hostages. This is a lottery,” Blach said.
The crew Alakrana felt insulted and threatened, Blach said the Spanish government and called for freeing two Somalia’s pirates. “We’ve been here more than 30 days. What can we say about this government that 36 residents here like a lamb that was sacrificed for the sake of holding two pirates,” Blach said.
“The government must have a solution in their own hands. As soon sent home two Somalis were here … to pay what is necessary and we will automatically be release. It is an easy thing,” he said.
The pirates of Somalia, said Thursday they arrested three men hostage from Alakrana and may submit them to the two pirates were detained Spanish.
