English Select No Trembling
Metro-reality.com, LONDON: England will not be “blocked, stopped, or moved” from the mission in Afghanistan despite the risk of death faced by soldiers. Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that, Friday (6 / 11). The comments came after five British soldiers killed in Helmand, Tuesday, by a police officer who trained British troops.
Prime Minister Brown said the training should being continued. “Because this is what distinguishes the liberation army of occupation forces,” added Brown. Furthermore, Brown promised the UK would not leave.
The most senior British general in Afghanistan, Jim Dutton told the BBC the killing of five soldiers in Helmand province “may not be the last” of the “cruelty” of this.
Members of parliament from the Labor Party and former minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kim Howells said that British troops should being drawn.
However, the government says Afghanistan mission is important in ensuring Al Qaeda does not increase its strength. Undaunted attitude like that will help develop the British defense against terrorist attacks.
